4. ASSEMBLY METHODS
• MAKE SURE O-RING IS IN PLACE
• SET BIT ON HOUSING SQUARE AND FLAT
• ALL BOLTS HAND TIGHT
• TIGHTEN BY HAND IN STAR PATTERN
STARTING AT THE BACK OF THE BIT
• CHECK SPACE BETWEEN BIT AND
HOUSING. SPACE SHOULD BE BUSINESS
CARD THICKNESS OR LESS.
• USE TORQUE WRENCH IN THE SAME
PATTERN AND TORQUE TO
SPECIFICATIONS FOR BIT BEING
INSTALLED.
• INSTALL TEETH WITH A DEAD BLOW
HAMMER OR RAILHEAD PULLER DRIVER

5. Important!!!!!
Torque Specs for Railhead
• 2-3/4” AND 3” Bits = 65 foot lbs
• 3-1/2” Bit = 120 foot lbs
• 4-1/8” Bit = 165 foot lbs
• 5” Bit = Maximum or 250 foot lbs
Note: When you torque the bit, step up to
recommended torque. For example, start the
5” torque at 75 foot lbs, then at 150 foot lbs,
then at 200 foot lbs and lastly at 250 foot lbs.
Editor's Notes
O-Ring should be set in housing with the help of small amount of adhesive. Then coat with some lubrication.
Take your time mounting the Incredibit onto the housing in small steps. Tighten bolts by hand to begin. Make sure bit is mounted straight and be sure to use dead blow hammer or sledge hammer with block of wood to tap bit into place.
