EVENT MARKETING MANAGER

With over eight years of event
management experience, Rachael
is respected by peers, vendors, and
industry professionals for her vision,
breadth, and attention to detail.
Whether it’s planning a massive
conference of 5,000 people or
coordinating an intimate customer
networking dinner, Rachael
specializes in transforming raw
space to convey the story tailored to
the specific audience for that event.
Rachael’s journey led her from
working for lobbyists and dreaming
of law school to eating, breathing,
and sleeping event logistics; and she
couldn’t be happier about it. After
constantly gravitating toward event
management, she branched out on
her own, where she promptly
secured a full time contract
with Adobe.
Rachael moved beyond logistics to
become a leader in events as she
has built relationships with indus-
try luminaries, developed ongoing
high-impact programs, and com-
bined aesthetic appeal with stra-
tegic business goals. Thoughtfully
decisive under pressure, she keeps
in mind the overall objective of the
event while having a bias for action.
From conferences to intimate
networking events, and
personalized details to marketing
campaigns, Rachael proves time and
time again, you can have fun and get
business done.
CREATIVE PROCESS
Rachael views the event, from its
inception to the final thank you note,
as a client journey. She starts by
finding out the company initiatives,
details specific to the event, and
identifying the customers or
attendees. Based on the audience
demographic and client goals, she
chooses the perfect venue.
The event molds itself to the
venue, making a completely raw
space come alive. From her years of
experience, she quickly pairs the
appropriate vendors to the space.
With passion and clear
communication, she aligns key
stakeholders to move together
toward a shared vision: a
high-impact, memorable event.

ADOBE SUMMIT | ANNUAL WORLDWIDE CONFERENCE
Adobe hosts a four-day Annual Digital Marketing Summit for over 5,000 customers and partners in Salt Lake City every
March. Rachael manages the 50’x60’ Adobe booth in the partner pavilion, the ancillary private dinners (including 15
simultaneous dinners on one night), two after-parties, and personalized customer events that include snowmobiling and
whiskey tasting.
Rachael developed and manages the VIP program which pairs Adobe’s top 75 clients with an Adobe senior executive
as their personal host for the week. The client has a personalized itinerary that includes 1:1 briefings with senior
management, specific breakouts geared around their interests, a private welcome reception with the senior execs, a
private suite at the Jazz Game, luxury hotel accommodations, a welcome gift and a personal greeting by staff upon
arrival, private transportation, ski day accommodations, and backstage passes to Summit’s big name entertainer (The
Black Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Neon Trees, and Vampire Weekend). The successful VIP program has been adopted by
Adobe’s EMEA Summit and Global Symposia.

DINNERS & DETAILS
Rachael plans every detail and
manages on-site logistics for many
high-touch dinners and a variety of
networking events. Customer
attendees span different industries,
including retail, media and
entertainment, financial services,
strategic accounts, social, and
advertising verticals.
She sources the venue, secures
speakers and content, manages
digital asset development, and adds
personal touches that make each
event a step above the rest and each
uniquely different.
PROMO GIVE-AWAYS &
MARKETING CAMPAIGNS
Sometimes all a cold lead needs is
a good icebreaker. Rachael
specializes in “door openers” that
intrigue and engage new company
targets. Leading cross-functional
teams to pull together around a
creative idea, she had a large black
Adobe branded box delivered to
target customers with a sport helmet
and Go-Pro mount inside, inviting
recipients to get “extreme”
performance with a new product. With
a follow up invitation to receive an
on-site demo at the upcoming shop.
org conference in exchange for a free
Go-Pro to accompany their helmet
and mounts, 8% of recipients
scheduled a meeting, resulting in
over 1 million in closed deals.
Quick on her feet, Rachael seizes
opportunities for real-time marketing.
When a Florida rainstorm had
conference attendees down, she
brightened their day, overnighting
supplies and providing a table full of
sunglasses and umbrellas reminding
them “Rain or shine, Adobe has you
covered.” This on-the-fly campaign
made Adobe the conference heroes,
as guests promptly took to social
media to share their delight.
CONFERENCES &
NETWORKING EVENTS
Rachael has spearheaded a broad
spectrum of events, from executive
lunches, booths, and speaking
engagements at conferences like
SXSW, Pivot, AdWeek, and AdTech,
to product launches. Whether it’s an
entire event like Symposium, or
involvement in specialized events
such as the Tour of Utah, she
manages a variety of projects
with ease.
SYMPOSIUMS
Each year Adobe hosts a half-day
event in San Francisco and New York,
bringing condensed content from its
larger conference held in March to
cities near customers who cannot
attend summit. The events’ 300-600
attendees range from practitioner to
decision maker. Rachael has
managed eight symposiums over the
course of four years, carefully
selecting unique locations and
captivating speakers to draw an
increasingly larger audience of
high-level decision makers each year.
