2. Tittle: Solubility enhancement of saquinavir by self-emulsifying solid dispersion
technique.
Description:
Solid Dispersion to enhancement of oral bio availability of water poorly soluble
drugs remains one of the most challenging aspects of the drug development.
Solid Dispersion technique is to reduce the practical size and increase the rate of
dissolution and absorption to enhance the solubility of saquinavir by using UV
visible spectometre, particle size analyzer; dissolution test apparatus, Magnetic
stirrer, Digital Analytical Balance and also performed evaluation parameters such
as Dissolution studies and solubility studies.
Industrial training (During B. pharmacy):
45 days training from Bindu pharmaceuticals and KP labs private limited in 3rd
semester (From 22052015 to 22062015)
Training was about:
• Observing the formulation process of medicines.
• Observing the quality testing process of medicines.
• Observing the quality assurance of the medicines
