SchooL Community Service Project from 15 April L996 to 30
Apr:il 1996. ifris collaborative ef f ort with the City of
Norfolk involved setting up 400 state-of-the-art computer
workstations for a Transforming Local Government Seminar
training session and rej-nstalling the systems in permanent
locations throughout the school. You and your fellow
volunteers contributed over 600 hours of assistance in al-1
phases of the project which involved technical assistance,
project planning, ensuring Local Area Network and Internet
Loniectivity, ana system testing. Your efforts have been
invaluable in fostering goodwitl for the Navy and support for
the educational community in the Hampton Roads alea- Your
personal initiative and dedication to youth reflected great
credit uporr yoursel-f and the united states Naval Servj-ce.
