This presentation encourages a Christian on the principles of healthy living in the midst of turmoil, disturbances, suffering and other adversities. It guides the Christian on how to look into every form of pain as an opportunity to grow and even find clarity. It shows that there are disruptions that can only make a man and not mar him because they are spiritually discerned by God.

3. Introduction:
Considering the our current world dispensation, this is a very timely presentation
that stresses the turbulences going on. Every soul is struggling through physical
hostility, strife/incompatibility, contentions, variance (bad governance), griefs,
disappointments, and all sorts of pain.
Well I guess it’s only human to have all these experiences, yet this presentation
seeks to re-direct our focus towards advancement for the greater good, finding
God in the midst of disruptions and holding on to faith even when life breaks your
heart.
4. God’s Word:
Hebrews 12:26-29 (26At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has
promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” e
27The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is,
created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be
thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29for our “God
is a consuming fire.”)
5. Case Study 1: Paul & Silas
Acts 16:25-40
When Paul and Silas commanded an evil spirit to come out of a slave girl, her
owners were furious and dragged them to court. They were beaten and
incarcerated shamefully without a trial, just because they obeyed God.
But the remained very hopeful about the promises of God and not even dare the
credibility of the message of Christ.
Reset: God powerfully liberated them and the same people that had shamefully
beaten and incarcerated them became their entourage out of the city.
6. Case Study 2: Mephibosheth in Lo-Debar & David
2 Samuel 9:13
Mephibosheth? Mephibosheth was five years old when both his father and
grandfather died at the Battle of Mount Gilboa. After the deaths of Saul and
Jonathan, Mephibosheth's nurse took him and fled in panic. (2 Samuel 4:4) In her
haste, the child fell, or was dropped while fleeing and forever became crippled.
Lo-Debar: Land of no pasture, no communication, Place of disconnection from
modern civilization
Reset: David restored Saul's inheritance to Mephibosheth and permitted him to
live within his palace in Jerusalem.
7. Case Study 3: Joseph
Genesis 41:37-44
Joseph did not become Prime Minister in Egypt by happenstance. Though he went
through very humbling circumstances, he remained faithful. Joseph walked the
wilderness of shame and despair, from betrayal to imprisonment yet, he never
skipped a moment of breakthrough, every valley he had been to were his kairos
moments.
Resets: There is never a Prime Minister without all those pain, regrets,
disappointments and making the most of every moment of blessing
(developmental moments)
8. Case Study 4: Daniel & The Lion’s Den
Daniel 6:1-27
Daniel’s demotion into the lion’s den was an act of hatred, disregard and dishonor
to God from men who are just canal and can not understands things that are
spiritually ordained. Yes Daniel was righteous yet he suffered for was he knew was
right as though it wasn’t, but it was even more noble and purposeful that he
comes out of the den before manifestation is complete.
Reset: Hate, envy and jealousy can kill you but not when your commitment is
anchored by a more powerful source (Daniel 11:32b … but the people who do know
their God shall be strong, and do exploits).
9. Case Study 5: Job
Other than being from Uz, the first thing the Bible tells us about Job is that he was
righteous and godly, “blameless and upright,” a man who “feared God and
shunned evil” (Job 1:2). One might assume from these first two verses that Job
was a simple man of humble means because it’s a rare person whose heart is
fixed on God and also has everything this life has to offer. But Job was a very rich
and great man by the world’s standards.
Resets: Satan made riches to rags of the man Job yet, he never lost grip of the
new dimension God had for his righteousness (Job 42:5-6 “...I have heard of You
by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor
myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”)
10. Quiet Time Study
Learn about the deformations and every alteration God has allowed in the lives of
the following characters and also commit to seeking the divine resets that God
made/did in the very same:
● The man born Blind
● The woman with 12yrs hemorrhages
● Jonah and Nineveh
● David
● Jesus Christ
11. Resets In Disruptions:
How do you see God in the midst of so much turbulences (disruptions)?
❖ Hopefully or Hopelessly? (Perspectives to struggles)
❖ Generational faithfulness
❖ Build confidence in God’s relationship with you before the storm hits (John
16:33)
❖ In all ways, always remember God’s faithfulness
❖ Doing the right thing along the way
12. Conclusion:
God creates/allows disruptions because He is trying to get things that are either
out of order back in order or take us to a new level (Hebrews 12:26-29).
So when there is disturbance in the five senses of our lives, the environment of our
lives and the chaos of the culture, it’s because He is shaking things to remake
something in its proper order, things that have gotten either out of order or there is
a new purpose that He is moving to.
“Hold on to faith when life breaks your heart”
13. … Conclusion:
Do not let your situation deter you from God’s word and proclaiming it. Hold
sturdy, God’s word and His truth in spite of the circumstances that you see as
going through.
You need to allow the Holy Spirit, by requesting it to comfort you, encourage you
by the word, to light your soul up, dry your eye, settle your fears, and He will do
because you have come through His precepts.
That may not mean that your circumstance will change today or tomorrow but it
means that you will change in your circumstance, and when you change, you’re
managing what usesd to be managing you.
14. Meditations:
★ What happens to the body of Christ (YOU) if the Lord does not always answer
prayers in the way they thought He would?
★ Your greatest ministry will come right out/after your greatest misery.
★ Being disrupted is the thing of knowing that you’re hurting and being
anchored at the same time.
