DESCRIPTION :
The transformer is a vital component in the electric transmission and
distribution.Now a days,we find lots of tranformers are burning because of over load,voltage variaton and
over temperature
Two seperate similar type of lower rating tranformers are used and are treated as
distribution transformers.The idea of using additional transformers is to protect the existing transformer
burning due to over loads and over temperature. The additional transformer is known as stand by
transformer.The combination of both the transformers are designed in such a way so that,if any one
transformer is over loaded,automatically the other transformer shares the load and reduses the burden of
first transformer.So that un-interrupted supply can be provided to the consumers.
