- GE Power Services wants to automate manual process of buying and selling Parts to establish a trading
platform (similar to EBay/Amazon) which provides visibility and access to customers, broker’s inventory
worldwide.
- The purpose of this application is to allow liquidation of parts which are spared due to reasons like
up gradation, changes in technology, decommissioning of turbines etc.
- The application will allow customers to list assets they want to liquidate, and will allow other customers to
see listed assets.
- Customers can then raise request to buy or exchange parts they are interested it. A workflow will be raised to
drive liquidation process to completion.
