I am pleased to submit this letter of recommendation in support of Priya Reddy. I was
Priya’s supervisor at the Steelcase Library at Grand Valley State Univeristy from 2009-
2010. This was a student employment position requiring someone with adept technical
skills, an eye for detail, and strong customer service, and Priya fit the mold in every
way.
I recall Priya being particularly tech savvy, always working with our staff to manipulate
software programs to improve departmental efficiency. I was also always very
impressed by her work ethic and dependability. Priya has strong interpersonal skills
and was well liked by her fellow student employees, staff, and customers alike.
Priya also brought a very positive, “can do” attitude to our office environment and picked
up on a variety of new tasks, policies, and procedures very quickly especially for
someone who was working part time for us as a student. We had great confidence in
her ability to work independently with little direction or supervision, and knew she would
ask us questions appropriately if the need were to arise.
Assuming her qualifications match your open position, I have great confidence Priya
would be a welcomed and contributing addition to your organization.
