Narrative Report
IMMERSION PROGRAM
EUROTEL NAGA
Brgy. Dinaga, Naga City
We, the 4th group of immersees namely; Charyl Postre (Team leader), Mary Joy Sales
(Assistant leader), Melanie Palacay, Judith Santos, Jimerson Perez, Joevil Ramboyon, and John
Kevin Taduran are the Home Economics student of Rodriguez National High School. We had
accomplished a total of eighty (80) hours of housekeeping practicum at Eurotel Naga from
December 4, 2017 to December 14, 2017.
On the first day of our internship we attended an orientation in connection with the
rules and regulations that we should observe in our the training days. We met the supervisors
as well as the employees who were assigned in the different departments of Eurotel. After the
orientation the supervisor divided us into two groups. The first group was assigned in the
Function Hall and the other one was assigned in the housekeeping. We performed table
skirting, stage preparation and table napkin folding, and all other basic chores. When we had
our time in the housekeeping department, the Room Attendant taught us preparing the bed as
well as in cleaning restroom and the different types of guestrooms in the hotel. Some of us
were assigned in the kitchen and some were assigned as dishwashers. We did table
preparations and served in different hotel functions. Lastly, we came to know the different
types of cleaning which are : GC (General Cleaning)/ COC (Check Out Clean), RC (Regular
Cleaning), and MUR (Make Up Room).
We had a great time working with the Eurotel employees and with our fellow immerses.
Our deep sense of gratitude goes to RNHS Immersion Team and to EUROTEL Naga.
