2. INTRODUCTION
 Kota super thermal power station (KSTPS) is a power station in which the primer in
steam driven.
 Kota Super Thermal Power Station is the first coal based Electricity Generating
Power Plant in Rajasthan. At present the total installed capacity of KSTPS is
1240MW.
 KSTPS has earned golden shield award from Union Ministry of Power for Consistent
outstanding performance during 2000-01 to 2003-04. The Golden Shield was
presented by Hon’ble President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on 24.8.04.
 adequate measures have been taken at ktps to control pollution and comply to the
norms laid by environment protection act. 1986. being a power station, located in
the heart of kota city, continuous efforts are made to ensure atmospheric emission
of suspended particulate matter within the prescribed limits.

3. RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
 Research mythology is a way to systematically solve the research
problems.
 To study the working capital management of KOTA SUPER
THEERMAL POWER STATION.
 To estimate the working capital requirement of KOTA THERMAL
POWER STATION.

4. RESEARCH TYPE
 Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem here , used to
the analytical data type.
 Data collections is important step in any project and success of any project will play in
important role in research report work with out proper data.
 Secondary data collection thought the annual report of KOTA SUPER THERMAL POWER
STATION for the year of finance 2016-2017 & 2017-2018.
 This project is completed with annual report it just constitutes one part of data collection i.e.
secondary.
 This project is based on two years annual report limited period and limited area.
 Here data analysis tool working capital management & analysis.

5. LIMITION OF STUDY
 Following limitation were encountered while preparing this project
 LIMITED DATA: This project has completed with two yeas annual report.
 Conclusions and recommendation are such limited data. The trend of last two year data.
 LIMITED AREA: Also it was difficult to collect the primary data regarding the competitors and their
financial information. Industry figures were also difficult to get.

6. DATA ANALISIS
 In working capital analysis the direction at change over the period of time of crucial
importance.
 It is there for very essential for an annalist to make a study about the trend and direction
of working capital over a period of time.
 Such analysis enables as to study up words and down words trend in current assets and
currents liabilities and it is effect on the working capital position.
 There may be long run trend of changes e.a. The price of raw material may constantly raise
necessity the holding of large inventory.

7. FINDINGS
 It was observed that major source of liquidity problems is the mismatch between currents payment
, currents receipts from the compression of two years working capital statement.
 The length of time between the company out lay on raw material , wages and other expenses and
in flow of cash from sales of goods.

8. CONCLUSION
 The study of working capital management of KOTA SUPER THERMAL
POWER STATION has revealed that the current ration was as per the
stander in industrial practical but the position company show an increasing
capital.
 The study has been conducted on working capital statement analysis
which help the company to manage it’s working capital efficiency and
affectively.

9. RECOMMANDECTIONS
 Company has to take control on cash balance because cash is non earning assets and
increasing cost of funds.
 Company should raise funds through short term source for short term requirement of
fund , which comparatively economically as compare to long term funds.
