1. AUTOMATED DIC ROD CELL IMAGE TRACKING (ADROIT)
Description:
Developed a software tool using MATLAB for automated quantitative image analysis.
The analysis performed after skeletonising of E. Coli cells and tracking of their poles and
centroid from differential interference contrast (DIC) images.
2. QUANTITATIVE IMAGE ANALYSIS OF CYTOSKELETAL POLARIZATION DURING CELLULAR
PATTERN FORMATION
Description:
To automate the detection of neurites of PC 12 cells and quantitatively analyze
cytoskeletal polarization in terms of number of neurites, lengths and angle of
orientation of neurites using MATLAB.

1. ABNORMALITY ANALYSIS OF ORGAN IN ABDOMEN USING CT IMAGES
Description:
CT images of DICOM format are taken as Input. Images are enhanced (improved) for
analysis. Segmentation and detection of various organs like kidney was performed.
Texture analysis of segmented organ is carried out to find abnormality. Implemented on
MATLAB environment.
2. AUTOMATIC BILLING SYSTEM USING RFID
Description:
The whole system is fitted on the opening of the shopping cart. Each product contain
one RFID card which is read by the module in the system. Module sends the product
name, cost and total amount to microcontroller. At the time of billing this system is
connected to computer by RS232 Serial port and bill is printed out. Implemented on
Assembly language program.

formation, poster presented at Bio-physics Paschim-9 conference NCL (2nd
Oct 2015).
