Alpha Arts and Science College (Porur)
organised its 20th annual sports meet on Feb.8.
The programme started with Tamil Thaai Vazhthu.
S. John Sundar (Assistant commissioner of Police,
Koyambedu Range) was chief guest.
Dr. Ashalatha (Principal of the college) presided over
the function and delivered the presidential address.
John Sundar declared the sports meet open and
the students of various disciplines enthusiastically
participated in the various athletic events and exhibited
their talents followed by the prize distribution.
The programme concluded with the valedictory where
Dermiz (Physical Director) presented the annual report of
the sports meet.

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit (Chief Guest) inaugurated Rishs International School (Mangadu) on Feb.5. The Program started with invocation songs by the
students followed by a splendid dance by the young dancers of Rishs. The audience was greeted by chairman N.Sakthivelu, Director R.Balambika and Uma N. Murthy, the
Principal of Rishs International School.The dignitaries were honoured with mementos by school chairman and director. The programme came to a close with vote of thanks by
