Editor's Notes
A lot of learners want to improve their English skills; however, they have a lot of â Butâsâ ⊠this cause them to develop bad habits which prevent them from improving their EnglishâŠ.
In today video, I will show you 7 habits why your English speaking isnât improving and also the solutions to improve your English. Before then, there are two things I want you to know. So stick around to my video.
First,
To succeed in anything you do including learning, you need these: commitment and persistence, which are free of charge.
A journey to success is not going to be easy. If it was easy ,everyone would be successful.
Its even more difficult, if you are working and learning at the same time, you start learning later than others.
Anyway, donât worry. Iâm here to help you and letâs start from today with me.
Before I share with you the techniques, I want to invite you to this 1 month challenge. List down your 3 weaknesses and see you progress after a month.
But remember to see the effectiveness, you need to apply all the techniques correctly and fully.
Now letâs check what the bad habits are and techniques to improve your EnglishâŠ. Letâs goâŠ
1st bad habit is you donâtâ practice enough or not at all.
If you just learn in classrooms, but you never get to do it, no matter how great a lesson or a teacher is, you can never make progresss.
To solution to that is : stop your excuses ( read the slide)
2nd habit : youâre worried too much about making mistakes.
When I learned English, some of my classmates laughed at me because I spoke broken English. My teacher and my classmates sometimes did not even understand what i was saying.
If you aske me if that stopped me from speaking? No
The solution to this habit is : overcome it. ( read the slide)
The 3rd habit is you donâtâ have a purpose of learning. When you donât have a reason why youâre doing what youâre doing, you will quit when you meet obstacles.
The solution to that is ( read the slide)
The 4th habit is you are quick to give up. Some people quit after they donât see any progress after a month when they study English from online classes ⊠let me share with you, I could not speak English until I studied it for 5 years.
if you want to speak like a native speaker in one month, think back to how many you spent to finish your primary school to be able to read, write basically.
The solution to this is:
The key to success is consistency rather than intensity. You cannot lose weight by working out 10 hours a day instead of 1 hour every day.
You canât become a great speaker within a day.
Read the slide
The sixth bad habit is you donât do or learn it the right way. I mean if you never learn English before, you need to start from beginner level. You cant expect to be able to communicate in business context by skipping the foundation or basic level.
Read the slide.
Learn new words, phrases , expressions related to your learning purposes every week⊠donât just learn the meanings but also the how to use them correctly.
Read the slide. Thatâs almost the end of my video but
