Daily maintenance of drilling fluids on rig site, daily checks, maintains mud properties as per mud
program. Work with warehouse on logistics getting chemicals to and from well site. Worked next
to company man recommending chemicals to place in drilling mud and maintaining mud
properties. Worked on many wells for fluids cost and efficiency. Interfaced with Onshore Teams
in daily operations and routine interpretation of the operations needs to meet KPI targets.
Highly experienced in preparing & maintenance of water base mud & Oil base mud system.
Experience in drilling through clay, shale, coal, limestones and depleted formations.
Experience in special drilling problems for all WBM, OBM, and SBM such as HPHT well (> 420 Deg
F), Horizontal well with RDF, exploration well with SBM. Know how to deal with the well problem
such as stuck pipe, bit balling, well control, fishing, loss circulation, and gumbo attack. Good
practice in work-over well with high density brine fluid, concerned operations such as
perforating, sidetrack, cement plug, etc.
Good in Hydaulic program to calculate ECD, swab & surge, hole cleaning index.
Experience in all API lab test with WBM, OBM, SBM. Special in particle size distribution mastersizer
equipment and how to perform permeablility plugging test (PST) for the HPHT mud system.
