Synopsis of (insert name here)

The story of (name) takes the audience through a school that is believed to be haunted.
During half term James, Eva, Dani and John are tasked with making a documentary on the
school for their history project. In the production of said documentary, they begin to realise
that they are not alone in the school. Something far more sinister than the schools care
taker was stalking the halls. The ghost of a work man who had been trapped in a sealed off
part of the old work house basement still haunted the place. On the site where the school
now stands a work house once was but now demolished. However one work man was
trapped beneath the foundations of the school… until now!

This is Andy’s version of the Synopsis and this is the first attempt that we have had we are all going
to have a go at writing one and then either picking the best one or making a new one with elements
of all three.

                                Synopsis of (insert name here)

This is no ordinary school, it has a past like all things it has a past that is forgotten and needs
to be forgotten to end it! However this is not always the case when that work house was
demolished many years ago one man stayed inside trapped forever. He went from flesh and
blood to more than this he went beyond what we all no. The talenow moves on to the
present were we see a school stands were this work house once was. We see four children
waking this work man at first they do not now they only see images of the past laid across
the school. Trails are laid around the school, follow them…. We shall see the future and the
past meet…!

This is my attempt at my synopsis and I feel that there is a lot of work that I can do to this to
edit it and make sure that it has a better start and end that is stronger and better for the
synopsis.

                                  Synopsis of (insert name here)

Four young history students are set a project to look into the history of their school and
what it was like as a workhouse in the 1800’s. They decide to go ahead and search for a
Ghost of a workman who died there hundreds of years ago. They are warned not to mess
with the unknown but the riveted teens ignore their teachers request and delve into the
horrific mystery. One by one they discover the frightening truth about one particular night.
The story is then halted with a twist in events that change their lives forever. . . Will they
make it out of the school alive? Will anyone really discover the truth? And who will be there
to pick up the pieces? . . . Only time will tell.

This is Bret’s attempt at the synopsis and we can see that is holds many important details
that the rest of us did not include.
Synopsis of (insert name here)

(Fay’s) Synopsis
Dani, Eva, James and John. Four history students have a project to find out about the school’s
history; there’s a rumour about a workman who was trapped underneath the building when the
workhouse was being converted into a school. Now he’s come back during half term with a
vengeance! But will they survive?

This attempt if Fays and even though it is small and short, it also to the point of the
storyline. It gives a clear impression to what the story is about.
