The Goring Family Lecture Series at Laurentian University is presenting a talk on Thursday, March 6th at 7:30pm in the Fraser Auditorium called "Mining and First Nations–SUSTAINABILITY IS THE ONLY OPTION" which will discuss how sustainability relates to First Nations peoples' connection to the land, water and air as well as their communities, and the challenges that resource development poses to both First Nations and other Canadians.
