3. During her childhood, Amelia showed signs of a restless personality.
When he was ten years old, he had the opportunity to see his first aeroplane at a
state fair.
Soon after, his father fell into alcoholism and his grandmother died. During the
Second World War, she and her sister enlisted as volunteer nurses and cared for
wounded pilots. It was there that she became interested in aviation.
In October 1922 she achieved her first altitude record, flying at 4267 metres and in
1923 she obtained her pilot's licence from the International Aeronautical Federation.

6. After many successful journeys, In 1937, Amelia Earhart announced that she would
attempt a round-the-world flight using a different route than her usual one, but she and
her co-pilot disappeared in a storm on 2 July. After much investigation it was
concluded that the reason for her disappearance was that the plane ran out of fuel
and crashed in the Pacific. It was also said that it could have been a forced landing.
