12. Dalat Railway station is the most beautiful railway in Vietnam
Since 1991, 7 km of the line between Dalat
railway station and Trai Mat was restored and
returned to use as a tourist attraction.
Sitting on the train going on a slow speed,
tourists can enjoy the full sight of Dalat, the
purest atmosphere of the highland, and can see
the orchards, fields of vegetables and flowers,
pine trees and lakes.

14. The Valley of Love in Dalat had to surpass
many challenges in the past in order to gain its
rightful name today.
In the 30s of the 19th century, French couples
often chose this setting for dating, then named
Vallée d'Amour.
By the time of King Bao Dai, this area was
called The Valley of Peace.
In 1953, Mr. Nguyen Vy - Chairman of Dalat
town Council at that time - proposed to change
its name to The Valley of Love.

15. It is located 6 km north of Dalat’s city center
on Mai Anh Dao Street.
To get there, visitors can take a bus from Phu
Dong Thien Vuong Street.
The overall theme of the valley is romance
and peace.
Upon entering The Valley of Love, you will
see a large golden statue of a pair of hands
exchanging rings.
Couples can have their photo taken inside of
giant carved-out hearts.

16. The 13-hectare Da Thien Lake - a man-made
lake in 1972 - sits peacefully in the middle of
the valley.
The scenic green hills surrounding the lake
are covered in gorgeous pine forests.
Colorful flower beds and gardens line the
walking paths that lead around the lake and
through the forest up to Vong Canh Hill, from
which there’s a beautiful lookout where you
can view the valley from above.

17. The track continues to Paradise Hill, which is
surrounded by other picturesque lakes.
The Valley of Love is great for those wanting
to escape the city for a couple hours, or for
those wanting to celebrate love in a romantic
setting, which has resulted in park becoming a
popular honeymoon destination.
It’s also an good ideal area for picnic and
spending time with the family.

• The waterfall has a deep cave hidden in the forest
it was shelter of a troop in the war with the Chams people
the troop could reside to preserve their force
call it “Datanla” which means water under the leaves, water
under the stone
• The place K’Lang and H’Biang met each other.
Here the man had a fight with fierce wild animals.
Trees falling down made a deep hole called “The Death abyss”
at the bottom of the waterfall.
