Sometimes on the way to thriving, all you do is slip. This is a no-nonsense presentation on the practical skills you need to survive anything life throws your way.
3. SEE IT AS A CHALLENGE
•Practice emotional minimalization. Do not
overblow it in your mind
•It’s just something to do; set about the task.
•It’s kind of like a regular job.
7. SOLICIT SUPPORT
• Come right out and ask
• If they say no, move on to the next person
• Do not expect friends and family to be all you
want them to be.
• Spread out your requests, and therefore your
expectations.
• Do expect help from surprise sources.
• If there is no help to be found, turn to
professionals.
• There are resources out there to help you if you
have no money to pay for professional help.
9. ACCEPT THE PROBLEM,
EMBRACE IT, and LET IT WORK
THROUGH YOU AND IN YOU.
THIS ALLOWS A GENTLE FIGHT
RATHER THAN AN ALL-OUT WAR
RESILIENCE
10. THINK ABOUT THE WORST-CASE
SCENARIO AND WORK TO
COUNTERACT THAT.
11. YOUR PROBLEM IS NOT YOU.
It is part of your life
experience just like
anything else
Use it, let it go, learn
life lessons.
Maybe it is something
you move through, get
over, and get on with it,
not feeling any great
impact on your life.
