Hanesbrands UK Ltd.: Systems Development Manager reporting to UK CFO April 14–June 16
Hanes Brands Inc. (formally DB Apparel Europe). DB Apparel UK portfolio includes Playtex, Wonderbra and Shock
Absorber, with a turnover circa €35m, +200 heads, DB Apparel Europe has a turnover of +€650m with +5000
employees. Hanes Brands Inc. purchased DB Apparel in September 2014, creating the largest global intimate

Significant Achievements -
Most recently took lead role in the UK integration of required bespoke IT systems to SAP ERP system
o Since October 2014 have worked closely with the Hanes Brands US based IT team of approx.. 200
employees, on the transfer of our systems to SAP.
o Requirements gathering of how the UK IT systems operate for the complete Order to Cash process.
o Write and implement the interfaces from the UK Distribution Centre into SAP and BI systems.
o Generate initial load files to interface into SAP from the legacy systems.
o Basic knowledge of SAP navigation, Order to Cash process & access of supporting tables.
o Execute System Integration (SIT) and overview User Acceptance (UAT) tests, utilizing “Panaya”
testing tool.
Project managed the design, development & implementation of the following bespoke systems –
o “Real Time” Distribution Centre Control System
This covered the full cycle of Finished Goods & Packaging stock receipts from suppliers,
inventory control, packing, picking, value added services, through to final shipment to
customer. The system heavily utilizes the use of hand held RF terminals directly
communicating with the IBM iSeries for internal stock movements and customer order picking.
o Commercial Forecasting System
This covered the full cycle from Forecast analysis & entry at Style/Colour level by Class of
Trade, through to final forecast generation by SKU for manufacturing based on predetermined
Size Distribution parameters. Comprehensive on-line display and reporting analysis modules.
Sales targeting and tracking by District, Territory & Customer.
o Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Financial Systems
Accounts Payable covering Supplier maintenance, logging of Supplier Invoices, optional
automatic matching to goods receipts and final payments. Accounts Receivable covering
Customer Maintenance, logging of Customer Invoices, Credit Notes, manual Adjustments,
through to Customer Statements and allocation of Cash.
Responsibilities -
Development Management and Business Analysis in bespoke Software Systems. Day to day support of
existing in-house developed ERP system on IBM iSeries/RPG400. System areas covered Finance,
