6. The Digital India programme is a flagship programme of the
Government of India with a vision to transform India into a
digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
The journey of e-Governance initiatives in India took a broader dimension in mid 90s for wider
sectoral applications with emphasis on citizen-centric services.
Government of India launched National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) in 2006.
31 Mission Mode Projects covering various domains were initiated. Despite the successful
implementation of many e-Governance projects across the country, e-Governance as a whole has not
been able to make the desired impact and fulfil all its objectives.
In order to transform the entire ecosystem of public services through the use of information
technology, the Government of India has launched the Digital India programme with the vision to
transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

Easy to target and reach more audience at a cheaper price – better penetration
Campaigns can be easily customized and made more targeted
As the world is more dependent on the internet, it helps the business to reach out and
connect with the people on a larger scale.
Saves a lot of money as compared to the traditional way as it is cheaper and efficient
A challenge to reach the population which is still not using the internet
Keeping pace with new trends and technology
Need of deep understanding of changing human behavior and
requirements.
Damage control of bad reviews or complaints on social media or digital
platform is a huge task and can even lead to the closing of PLATFORM.
Data Analysis is still a very big concern and very few people are
professional in it as not many are able to understand what data actually
says.
36. 36
More and More employment for the youth as this field is just growing and number of
professionals are less
If the digital marketing comes everywhere in a full-fledged manner it will help the country
itself to become digital that means major chunk of our population will start leading a life
which will be smarter and faster.
All the operation from railways, municipal organization etc. will become faster and
smoother
Storing of valuable and confidential data of the government organizations will be easy and
secured.

Digital India Program initiated by Government of India is the
leading initiative Which will surely eliminate the Digital Divide of
the country .
The Digital India initiative of the Government of India can be
successfully implemented with the proactive approach and practical
approach of the farmers, NGO’s and Government authorities
working together.
Apart from creating a well-designed web portal, accessibility of
technology and resourceful personnel always should be the
criteria for the successful implementation of Digital India Program.
Various projects of Digital India are still under implementation
phase. Some of the projects may require minute changes in future
depending upon the nation’s requirement.
A very good afternoon to one and all present here . Welcome to the presentation session .
I convey my respect to the faculty members .Today I am going to deliver on the topic …… I hope my friends will be get benefitted .So , lets continue with the flow of presentation
These are as follows …..
Here it’s the Logo of digital india.
Subsequently I want to add , Digital India and Make in India schemes are , like trigger and outcome.
Coming to the context of introduction , Digital India , an initiative of Govt. of India ,that provides the , services electronically in deeper penetration, to the needy people by enhancing online infrastructure in a higher internet connectivity
Here we will talk about , What is the need ? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE ? - So the basic purpose is To enhance the knowledge , improve the skill , Trasnforming India…….
The journey of Digital India involves e-governance planning which includes 31 mission projects ……
Now coming to existing concept of digitalization , Here the basic fundamental is EVERYTHING AVAILABLE UNDER ONE ROOF . In other words we can say that One stop collection of every sector.
Commomn branding- patanjali
The picture shows the infra. …0ne is…. And the 2nd one is…….Which service or product on peak demand - digitalization will fulfil that … Lets have example . These days we people are running out of time . We have money , We have food . But we lack time , to prepare the food to consumable .Here the turn of digitalization , Which is fulfilled by the app called Zomato .
The vision of DI…….Future goal of scheme are infra- internet as an infra for the stability , sustainability of people
governance – holistically development taken in a view.
empowerment -………we can take an eg – We student deposit the couse fee online ,
in case of some daily labourers, hand to hand payment exists, but teacher’s are getting salary , which is directly transferred to the salary a/c. This is empowerment .
Wait to catch train , but now came to know from the app
A building can’t b constructed without pillars , In such a way- a scheme ca’nt run without base materials . So the 9 pillars are as follows,
The 1st is Broadband highways- In India 3 operators actively doing this work are Airtel , BSNL , nd Jio. People enjoy the internet speed while travelling . The bright example is Bengaluru-Chennai connecting highway
Then 2nd is Universal access. It is USP kind of thing in business, which leads greater profit . In the same way , there is a URL for access . It stands for Uniform resorce locator
Then the 3rd one is….%The 4th pillar is……%
The 5th one is E- kranti. Kranti means Revolution. As we all belong to agri background , we experienced Harit kranti . It involves information delivery service like transaction details , scholarship status etc
The 6th is info. SOOCHNA HI SHAKTI H. Reach the data to the needy.
Then 7th pillar is electronic mnfr.ing. The operations like mnfr , processing , mkt.ing of products integrated with Make in India .
The 8th one is job –There is a huge no. people employed , behind the sites like amazon nd filpkart, for operation and adminstrtion of smooth running
The 9th and last pillar is ……Here we will talk about target, that to achieve the goal b4 pre-determined time period.
We already know about broadband highways,Here we will came to know that ,It is not only for urban areas , it,s also working for rural mass.
Coming to URL - people see the Score of cricket, for the same series in Jaipur will b same as people watching it at Jorhat .
When we wil access for tourist spots in a perticular city , we will get the same data inspite of places, which we belong.
Then , Public internet ,CSCs in MP is known as MP-Online.
The , post office acts as multi service sector , where we enable to do money transaction, passport , insurance etc.
There are 1.5 lakh CSCs in 2015 , which increased to 2.71 lakhs in 2017 .
In Indian context , The penetration of CSC is highest in West bengal , where people get issued birth cerificate to death certificate , Export of coomdity to Import of raw material , advance seat booking of air way to road ways, and so on.
In e-Governance , we check the status of , online ordered commodity ,Indian postal delivery system , visa status ,from availabibity of room in lodge to, availabilty of table booking in resurant.
Under e-kranti , a running scheme is Sarva siksha aviyan, which involves e- library ,smart class room , laptop nd smart phone disribution to
In Context of health , sp apps proving level of blood pressure,by touching the thumb to the screen. scholar students.
In case of info. for every one , which is greatly lacking by farmers. Here we can take a example of KMS programme running by zone 8 kvks MSP of different crops .
after some slides we will get a pictorial view
