1. Friday Morning Breakfast Information (13-14)
Arrive at CHS by 6:40 am. Park at the Atrium but enter through the propped pool door as the Atrium
doors are usually locked. The atrium door to the East may be unlocked, but don’t count on it. Prop the
atrium door open while you unload. Tables should already be set up for you. You will likely be done
cleaning up by 7:30.
Plates, cups, napkins, salt and pepper, aluminum foil, plastic bags and plastic-ware are in locked cabinet
to the left in the very short hallway to get to the concession door. The picky combination is 30-32-6. All
the items you need will be in a large bin at the bottom of the locker. Please refill the bin at the end of
breakfast with the extra items from the shelves. Let Lisa Coert know if any items are running low.
Bring all food hot and ready to serve. Bring your own serving utensils. Try to avoid plugging in items as
the outlets are easily tripped and the custodial staff is very busy in the morning.
The boys will be out of the water by 6:50 and streaming in to eat shortly after that. You should plan on
feeding around 25 people.
Food Suggestions (the boys will eat whatever you bring)
Main Dishes Two 9 X 13 pans of breakfast (egg) bake or 6 dozen eggs scrambled (with cheese)
One pan of Cheesy Potatoes (normally for dinner but the boys love these for breakfast)
Having some individual yogurts is also a good idea
Meat –
6 pounds bacon (#1 choice of the boys) – This can be prepared days in advance and reheated in a crock
pot in the morning. We served it directly from the crock pot.
Sausages have been a hit as well as a few of the boys don’t like bacon.
Grain – (pick one or two of these)
2 batches of Monkey Bread (the #1 request)
1 dozen Costco Muffins (cut in half) They love the chocolate ones!
Pancakes
Croissants
3 dozen donuts
Fresh Fruit of some type
Raspberries, Blackberries, Grapes, Pineapple, and Melon are all huge hits with the boys
Beverages –
2 - 3 Gallons of Chocolate Milk (they will be expecting this)
OJ is not a huge hit but other flavored juices are (V8 Splash, apple juice . . .)
White milk is not a favorite
Grab and Go –
Have something for the boys to take with them as they get hungry by 2nd hour. One or two fruits:
Bananas, Apples, Cuties, granola bars, fruit snacks and individual juices (juice bags or boxes).
Wipe down the tables (wipes in the cabinet) and return unused items to the cabinet and relock.
Please leave a plate of food for the custodians.
