1. One Mil (MRAD) is equal to 10 centimeters (3.937 inches) at 100 meters.
Mil based reticles allow you to range targets to determine distance.
To determine the range of your target in meters divide the height or width of the target in meters by the Mils on the reticle x 1000.
Example: Target Height or Width in Meters x 1000 2 meters x 1000
