English assessment n°2 of the third Term
Text:
Susan is a journalist. She is interviewing Sally and Stewart Barnet who won 5
million on the lottery.
Susan: Tell me, Sally, how did you find out that you were the winners?
Sally: I was in my car, driving home, when I heard the numbers on the radio, one
after the other, and I couldn’t believe my ears.
Susan: have you made any plans yet?
Sally: Well, we haven’t realized yet what happened to us. We have dreamt about
travelling abroad but we haven’t been to many places yet. We have already decided
where we’d like to go. We’d like to visit Hawaii.
Susan: have you thought about buying another house?
Sally: Oh, no! We’re happy with this one, and for the moment, we don’t want to
move and buy a new one.
Susan: So how long have you lived here?
Sally: Well, we’ve been in this house since we got married. And we’ve made many
friends who have come to congratulate us. And the telephone hasn’t stopped ringing
for the last two days.
