This session will provide participants with the information, resources and tools to effectively deliver PREB-Ontario training in their respective communities. This initiative recognizes volunteers by formally acknowledging their contributions and providing a professional reference for their volunteer experience which is aligned with the National Occupational Classification (2011). The certificate outlines the skills the volunteer has demonstrated and developed, experience earned through volunteering and highlights special awards or achievements. The program also provides training materials and resources for Volunteer Centres to use in their future training. In this workshop, participants will receive certification which will allow you to print certificates, access to a free online application, training on the use of the software and the knowledge and ability to support those volunteers looking to gain experience through volunteering with your non-profit in order to either find paid employment or help with their academic requirements.
