The Ontario Volunteer Centre Network (OVCN) is leading the Pan / Parapan Am Games Volunteer Legacy Initiative to develop a PREB-Ontario: Volunteer Experience Recognition Program in collaboration with Volunteer MBC, Volunteer Canada and le Centre d’action bénévole de Québec.
This session will provide participants with the information, resources and tools to effectively deliver PREB-Ontario training in their respective communities. This initiative recognizes volunteers by formally acknowledging their contributions and providing a professional reference for their volunteer experience which is aligned with the National Occupational Classification (2011).
The certificate outlines the skills the volunteer has demonstrated and developed, experience earned through volunteering and highlights special awards or achievements. The program also provides training materials and resources for Volunteer Centres to use in their future training.
