3. About the Project:
Work carried out by O’Brien
The final stages of the high quality Garden Squares housing and apartment development in Dickens Heath, Solihull.
The project was built on top of an existing underground car park. O’Brien worked on a number of different phases, which included:
Structural works: Modification to existing and completed structures including ring beams, foundations, insitu curved sloping roof sections, and
insitu work to buildings.
Drainage: External drainage connection to existing sewers to a depth of 8 metres. Cast iron drainage laid beneath new building structures.
Foundations: 3000 tonnes of light weight filling material blown into existing structural bays.
External Finishes: High quality external paving to both internal courtyard and external paved areas.
