About us
For the very first time in Sri Lankan history a unique
new venture; Securitas Heimdallr / SECHEIM was
incorporated in May 2014 locating in Colombo 7,
founded by a young Sri Lankan corporate security
management professional together with a dynamic
skilled team of subject experts. SECHEIM is the first
entity which enters the Sri Lankan nonfinancial risk
management market with a diversified and modern
business model called “One Stop Shop for Security”,
offering end to end total solutions for corporate security
management requirements.
SECHEIM well understood the long due problem which
is non-availability of international knowledge in security
management and the scarcity of qualified professionals
in nonfinancial risk management

Heimdallr.
Sri Lanka’s corporate security industry is one of the main
support service industry, is now being challenged with
the country’s emerging economic culture supported
by large scale infrastructure development projects,
socioeconomic developments and foreign investments
takingplace all around thecountry.With the accelerated
strategic decision makings of the Sri
Sri Lanka is strong in its national defense protocols
which were eventually created as a result of long term
civil conflict. National security played a vital role in
managing and controlling the political situation of the
country with the minimum level of corporate security
risk management involvement in civil life, which was
never sufficient to match the international standards in

As a result of all above issues and concerns, the Sri
Lankan corporate security industry has fallen behind in
more than two decades when comparing with the world
standards due to the lack of availability of international
level experience and knowledge to cater to global
standard demands and we believe that it is high time
that this industry shall recover what’s lost during last
three decades.

Director / President
Mrs. Madihahewa is one of the founder directors of SECHEIM and appointed to the
board and presidency of the company since June 2014.
Currently holding the executive director position at Swarnakelum Group of Companies
and also working as the managing partner at Swarnakelum Group (Private) Limited.
And also a founder director of SB Trading (Private) Limited. She is contributing to the
company-wide strategic management and authorization programs at the executive
level.
D.K.Perera
Director / Executive Vice President
Mr. Kanishka Perera is one of the founder directors and he was appointed as the
Executive Vice President of SECHEIM in August 2014. Currently as an executive level
director, Mr. Perera is providing the leadership for overall business activities of the
company.
Mr. Perera has obtained his primary and secondary education at D. S. Senanayake
College, Colombo 7. While been a well disciplined student in the college, he was an
accomplished leader and a sportsman who held executive positions in many college
clubs and he concluded his college life as the Senior Deputy Head Prefect. Mr. Perera
is holding a Diploma in banking and finance (UK) and currently pursuing higher studies
in his master’s degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK). And also his continues
professional education in security management will keep adding value to his journey
in the industry.
Starting his early career at HSBC Sri Lanka as an administration trainee and followed
by a promotion as banking assistant. He gathered his specialized experience in security
and contingency management as the senior physical security associate during final
four years of Sri Lankan civil conflict. His experience is diversified in financial crime
management sector as a senior fraud risk analyst after 2010. At HSBC Mr. Perera had
undergone many education and training programs in international scale on corporate
security and financial crime management including primary level local training courses
offered by Sri Lankan defense forces. In year 2009 Mr. Perera was awarded a Justice of
Peace position by the government of Sri Lanka.
Whilst carrying multinational level knowledge and experience in local security industry
close to a period of decade, Mr. Perera held the position of Group Security Manager at
Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC until April 2014.
Maj. A. P. Kulasuriya
Chief Counsellor
Maj (Rtd). Anil Kulasuriya was appointed as the chief counsellor for SECHEIM and
graded as a vice president of the company. He joined SECHEIM in August 2014 and
heading the consultation services department of the company.
Maj. Kulasuriya has got commissioned officer level experience in Sri Lanka Army over a
period of 14 years as an instructor / trainer, operations commander and a staff officer,
mixed with with commercial business management and enterprise safety & security
exposure in multinational organizations over another 14years.
Specialized and skilled in weapon tactics, explosive devices, tactical training , electronic
security, integrated security solutions, business continuity /contingency planning and
HR management.
Also with comprehensive experience as a trainer and compliance auditor on the fields
of 5S, Safety, emergency response and enterprise risk assessment, he is a certified
defensive driver instructor/ trainer. Maj. Kulasiriya is certified as an International Ship
& Port Security (ISPS) compliance auditor and C-TAPT (Customs- Trade Partnership
Against Terrorism) and DuPont certified safety trainer / compliance auditor.
Currently employed at Unilever Sri Lanka as the Head of Security and also previously
held the position of Country Security Manager at Shell Gas Lanka. Currently holding
the position of Co – Chairman of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). Maj.
Kulasuriya is carrying a vast experience in national and corporate security sectors over
a period of 25 years.
