Legend has it that 9th-century goat herders noticed the effect caffeine had on
their goats, who appeared to "dance" after eating the fruit of the Coffea plant. A
local monk then made a drink with the plant and found that it kept him awake at
night, thus the original cup of coffee was born.

How does it start?
by the 16th century, coffee made its way to
Turkey and Egypt. Turkey is home to the
first method of coffee brewing, the Ibrik
method, which is still used today.
Then in Europe brewing method was coffee
pots. Grounds were put inside and the
water was heated until just before boiling.
The sharp spouts of these pots helped to
filter out the coffee grinds, and their flat
bottoms allowed for sufficient heat
absorption. As coffee pots evolved though,
so did filtering methods.
