2. Introduction
● India is a country of villages , about 50% of the villages have very poor socio
economic conditions.
● Need for proper basic infrastructure
● Financial assistance to the poor by providing productive resources through
credit and subsidy .
● Livelihoods rely on businesses this called for rural marketing.
4. Meaning :-
It’s a small amount of money given to the poor people including farmers and employed
persons as loan to start their own work.

agriculture sector
Growth in credit to the agriculture sectors
rose to a four - year high in FY 21 ,
according to the latest data from the
Reserve bank of India . This , as a strong
monsoon helped the farm sector remain
relatively immune from the covid 19
pandemic and the ecosystem around the
farm sector continued to develop .
