and contributedtothe firstoptimizationof ourMRP system. Nickregularlytookthe initiativeestablish
planningmechanismswhere noneexistedanddevelopimprovementstothe mechanismswe didhave.
His experience withplanningtheoriesand MRPwasveryvaluable duringa transition periodforour
planningdepartment.
Nickspreviousplanningexperience wasinthe aerospace industry;planningforbiologicsissignificantly
different. Inbiological planningyouare workingwithlive cellsaddingelementsof batchvariabilityand
extendedleadtimes. Nickworkeddiligentlytounderstandourmanufacturingprocess. One of Nick’s
beststrengths ishisfocus;he will worktirelesslyuntil he understandsthe process. He alsowasvery
effectiveatapplyinghispreviousknowledge of planningtoourmanufacturingprocess.
Unfortunatelycircumstancesdidnotallow forustoretainNickat eBioscience butinhistime withushe
