My name is Nhat Pham. I have a B.S Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and have
worked as an outstanding engineer intern for Parker Aerospace for 12 months . During my time at Parker
Aerospace, with minimal training and supervision, I quickly became a vital member of the manufacturing
engineering team and was able to achive many great acommplishments, such as:
• Majority of my tasks are related to tooling/fixtures design, for 3 main operations in the production
floor, which are identification, assembly, and testing. With my expertise in 3D modeling using
Catia V5 and AutoCad, fundamental engineering concepts as well as my understanding in GD&T
and tolerance analysis, I have successfully designed more than 50 new tools and fixtures, which
increased productivity manyfold as well as greatly reduced the amount of scrap and work injury.
• I also help with managing and update production work plans using company MRP software,
communicate with the technician to provide engineering assistance and resolve discrepancy
during production.
• I provided assistance in organizing tooling and equipment for the transition of more than 30 major
products to the facility in Guaymas, Mexico, for a projected 60% cost reduction.
Those were only a few things that I am capable of doing, as you can see, I am eager to learn and always
strive to perform my best, and I will greatly contribute to the company if I am fortunate to be a member of
the company in the future.
