Stress and anxiety are two of the most
common mental health problems in the
world. They can cause sleep problems,
headaches, stomach pain and more.
They can be caused by a variety of
factors such as work-related stress,
family issues or even just being too busy.
What is stress and how does it feel?
Stress is a natural response to certain situations. It is what
happens when we feel threatened and our body goes into fight-or-
flight mode.
The stress response starts in the brain by releasing hormones like
adrenaline, cortisol, and dopamine. These hormones are
responsible for a number of physical symptoms like increased
heart rate, higher blood pressure, and a release of glucose from
your liver.
There are two types of stress:
1) Acute stress that lasts for a short period of time.
2) Chronic stress that lasts for more than six months.
Both types can be harmful to your health if it becomes too much
to handle or it becomes prolonged.
How do we deal with stress in our life?
What is stress? Stress is the feeling of being under too
much pressure. It can be a physical, emotional, or mental
strain. The body reacts to stress by releasing hormones
that prepare it for “fight-or-flight” mode. This response is
automatic and does not require thinking about it.
There are different ways to deal with stress in your life:
1) You can change the situation that is causing you stress.
2) You can change how you think about the situation and
what you do about it.
3) You can do some of both - they work together to help
reduce your stress levels.

stress. We will explore how to identify and manage the
symptoms of chronic stress, as well as the various coping
mechanisms that can be used to relieve stress.
Stress is a normal part of life, but it often becomes a
problem when it continues for too long or starts to
interfere with our daily lives. When this happens, we need
to take steps to reduce our stress levels and get back to a
healthy state.
There are many ways we can manage our stress levels and
reduce their impact on our lives.

& have a Happier More Relaxed Lifestyle
There are many ways to combat stress in our daily lives and have
a happier, more relaxed lifestyle. We can try to find the root of
the problem and fix it, or we can find ways to relax ourselves.
The first step is to identify what is causing the stress. This will
help us know how we should go about relaxing. If it's work
related, then maybe we need to take a break or talk with our boss
about it. If it's family related, then maybe we need to spend time
with them. If it's school related, then maybe we need time for
ourselves.
Some other ways that may help us relax include: taking deep
breaths, playing games (especially video games), listening to music,
meditating and exercising are all good options as well.
