This document provides information about AN-ON, a collaboration based in Hong Kong and London focused on generating unique objects, environments, surfaces, and architecture. 5. Space Salim is a multi-use community complex for Women and Family in Seoul Korea which seeks to
combine diverse program functions in a way that encourages interaction and exploration of the building
by users and visitors. The building accommodates various programs which are grouped around a concept
of "making" and craft as a way to engage community and society. An open ground floor accommodates a
large craft market which spills out into an adjoining plaza, with split levels above allowing a visual con-
nection between floors and a spiral circulation to a roof garden cafe. The structural and facade design
maximises the possibilities of this programmatic arrangement in creating an column free ground floor
through the use of floor height trusses and a structural diagrid exoskeleton.

10. Entrance door configurations
大门配置
This design for a renowned Italian Art Gallery in Hong Kong took a space inside the historic Pedder
Building and transformed it through a series of simple moves. Original feature elements are exposed,
and minimal palette seeks to distinguish features by shadow and finish rather than colour, focus-
sing on the art on display. A bespoke door at the entrance is constructed from folded steel and glass,
with different configurations designed to respond to requirements during events, installation and
general opening.Bespoke furniture seeks to enhance the ancillary spaces, with storage concealed
behind a horizontal shutter within the reception space.

16. Our first project, ARTBOX is part-exhibition, part- installation and part- street occupation. Composed of
two shipping containers housing video art curated as part of the Chai Wan Mei Festival in March 2015, and
connected by a temporary structure of brightly coloured bamboo laundry poles, ART-BOX provides a new
experiential environment to encounter urban-embedded art, reinterpreting found familiar components in
a new, innovative way. Cables fixed to the major connection points of the container are utilised as mount-
ing for the bamboo poles at spacings and lengths defined by algorithmic software.

A small office for a creative recruitment agency in Central, Hong Kong, this project worked with a tight
budget to create a distinctive and practical space for employees and visitors. The floor is the centrepiece
of the space, with a colour transition across a composition of circles of varying sizes. The starting point for
the colour palette is the distinctive pink of the agency’s branding.

In this project completed on the western coast of
Ireland, a 150 year old cottage derelict through fire
was refurbished and an extension was added to the
rear. The extension is designed to bring light and
views to the heart of the house, whilst the exterior
construction, utilising stone on-site, integrates
tightly with the surrounding landscape.
