A very good and warm morning to everyone assembled here.I am Dr. Nazmul ,I am Dr.
Nusrat welcome you all to the inaugural ceremony of AGM and scientific seminar,2019
organized by Bangladesh society of Radiation Oncologists,the only official organization of
the oncologists in the country.this year our Theme is “Treat cancer early,save life,save
money”.

Indeed very wonderful.The vibes around tell a beautiful tale,which is truly unforgetable.

gentleman,honorable state minister,ministry of health & family welfare,of the
government of the peoples republic of Bangladesh Dr. Md. Murad Hasan ,M.P. kindly
gracing this inaugural ceremony as chief guest,we are delighted to have special guest- the
honorable state minister Dr. Md. Enamur Rahman,M.P. ministry of disaster management
& relief, government of the peoples republic of Bangladesh . we were expecting to have
as special guest the legendary Professor of Oncology Prof. Dr. M A Hai Sir but missing him
as he is sick and in this occasion we prsy for his quick recovery. Prof. Dr. sheikh Golam
Mostofa president of BSRO is the chair of the session.Thank you all for giving us your

4 BSRO was established on 1996 with the vision to promote the exchange of new research
& clinical developments in clinical oncology & cancer research.Its key purpose is to bring
together oncologists & cancer researcher.The activity is focused through the annual
meeting of the BSRO which encourages young researchers both in the scientific area &
clinical area.
5 Ladies and gentlemen we are going to start our all sessionss with National Anthem, it is
now touching our hearts.
6 we are lucky to have Prof. Dr.Qazi Mustaq Hussain sir as general secretary of
BSRO.during his tenure of leadership BSRO achieved peak of success as organigation.He is
the head of the dept. of Radiotherapy in Dhaka medical college. Now I would like to invite
Prof. Dr.Qazi Mustaq Hussain sir to deliver welcome address ………………………………..Thank

special guest.Sir has a versatile experience of over 40 years in the field of oncology.he is
the director of Bangladesh cancer society & senior oncologist in subcontinent.I

are really fortunate to have your guidance & support with us.
8 Its our privilege that today we have honorable state minister Dr. Md. Enamur
Rahman,M.P. ministry of disaster management & relief, government of the peoples
republic of Bangladesh as our special guest.He devoted his life for the welfare of the
peoples of Bangladesh.Our honorable guest made a history of humanity by helping
thousands of tragic Rana plaza victims, he is the founder chairman of Enam Medical
College. We also recall his outstanding support to Nepal earthquake victims. I request sir

Now we are at very pleasant moments to offer heartfelt good wishes to our young
oncolovists who were awarded in three scientific conferences of Federation of Asian
Organization for Radiation Oncology(FARO).They represented our country in abroad with
oral & poster presentation successfully.
In this historical era I would request Prof. Golam Mohiuddin Faruque the dreamer and
founder councilor of FARO……to come up the pordium.for saying some words on FARO
and appreciation to FARO participants…………………………thank you so much sir.
