Current Scope of work & Responsibility: -
To enforce and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures to increase health and
safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
Inspect the following high risk activities during SIMOPS, hook-up and commissioning , Scaffold erection, routine &
non-routine lifting, portable machinery and lifting tackle, portable electrical tools and immediately bring to
management’s attention any serious deviations that may have being noted.
Review the Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessment (RA) prior to approval for operations.
Conduct regular approved emergency drills, equipment and construction facilities inspections, PTW audits and HSE
walkabout at site; with the findings documented and reported to management.
Report any incident or accident to safety manager and be able to conduct a thorough accident and incident
investigation and come up with remedial actions to prevent future occurrence. In the event of a reportable injury
Conduct monthly safety meetings with safety reps and contractors and prepare minutes of meetings. Ensure that all
deviations mentioned in the meeting are rectified and corrected.
Act as the prosecutor in disciplinary hearings and prepare all documentation with regard to company disciplinary
code of conduct and sent to head office. Discipline employees that disregard safety regulations on site.
To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, Noise prevention, Safe handling of
chemical, accident Prevention, UAUC reporting and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related
to implementing safety Procedures in offshore facilities.
To coordinate the facility emergency procedures and act as the Board’s emergency on-site Coordinator. To assist
executive staff, senior administrators, and supervisors in emergency preparedness.
Ensure all health & safety reps conduct a monthly HSE rep inspection of their work areas.
Ensure that any person who is suspected to be under the influence of intoxicating substances is tested and the
appropriate disciplinary action is taken against that employee if necessary.

Conduct work site pre-audit, pre-mob briefing to new Contractors & crew. Carried out equipment
inspection at shore prior to their mobilization to the work location.
To co-operate and render support to clients, engineers/supervisor to promote safety awareness in

& filing.
Review & discussed any incident, near-miss report & to recommend corrective measures & cascade
the lesson learnt to prevent reoccurrence.
Maintain a register for all the accidents, incidents and near misses that happen during the work
activities, investigate and analyze occurrences for lesson learning and publish the statistics.
Lead meeting for risk assessment (RA), work method statement & job safety analysis (JHA) for all
non-routine work 24 hours prior proceeding.
Arrange and conduct tool box meeting, determine and agreed on the methods of control. Review
completed risk assessment, monitor & ensure implementation prior to preceding the work.
Daily HSE surveillance at work side and ensure the HSE requirements are adhered to & in place.
Monitor personnel PPE, work equipment’s & machineries and work areas are to HSE compliance
