1. O’s Minor League Feature April 17
GLYNN DAVIS, OUTFIELDER, SINGLE-A ADVANCED FREDERICK
Davis continued his hot start to the 2014 season after batting .448 this past week,
collecting 2 doubles, 6 RBIs, 2 walks, 2 stolen bases and scoring 7 runs in the process.
Davis’s hitting prowess has helped to catalyze a Keys offense that has been struggling to
score runs early on in the 2014 season. He now leads Frederick in batting average (.444),
OPS (1.047), hits (24), RBIs (9), runs scored (13) and stolen bases (3).
MIKE YASTRZEMSKI, OUTFIELDER, SINGLE-A DELMARVA
After a frustratingly slow start out of the gate in 2014, “Yaz” has begun to show glimpses
of the power potential his bat wields. Yastrzemski batted .286 this past week, knocking 2
doubles and 2 triples, while driving in 6 runs and scoring 3. He’s only batting .239 to date
but has proven to be a valuable run producer, leading the Shorebirds in runs scored (9)
and sharing the team lead for RBIs (8) and extra-base hits (5).
