As Objects Conservator at Shelburne Museum, Nancie Ravenel examines, documents, and treats works of fine art, folk art and decorative arts. Over the years, Nancie has supervised the work of over 40 interns and fellows. Nancie has conducted general collections surveys for historic houses in Vermont and lead discussions on art conservation in a museum setting for students in undergraduate and graduate level college courses. She has served as a grant reviewer for the Institute for Museum and Library Services and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
