• First DHS in Afghanistan
• Data collection: June 2015 – Feb 2016
• Provincial estimates available for 33 out of 34 provinces
• In Zabul province only 7 out of 30 cluster were surveyed
• Households surveyed: 25,974
• Response rate 98%
• Male interviewed: 11,778
• Response rate 91%
