2. Introduction to job
I chose this career because it sounded the most exciting
when i was researching my choices.
Plus kids love me, but i don't know why they love me so
much.
The main thing this job focuses on is treating children
from newborns to teenagers.
3. The Nature of work for my job
A pediatrician works mainly with children from all ages
and all age groups.
They also try to diagnose diseases that kids have like the
most common one every kid knows is ADD. I have a special
connection with this part because i was diagnosed with
ADHD myself so i have a lot of heart for these doctors.
4. Working Conditions
Their main working conditions are in hospitals.
Some choose health clinics, some choose to be self-
employed (etc).
The hours are different because they work 9-12 hours a
day and 45-60 hours a week.
The have unusual schedules because some of them may
have to work Saturdays and they can be away from home
for long periods or time.
5. Training, Qualifications
This career requires a Bachelors and Doctorate degree and
then it also requires medical school.
But most medical school require a 3-year undergraduate

They also require you to write and take the MCAT test, this
all before you get into medical school.

$100,000 to $200,000 in reality.
8. Uses of Technology
They use EHR or Electronics Health Records to keep
track of all the patients. So they now know what
wrong with the patient before they walk in.
They also use handhelds to record stuff faster and
quicker with out leaving and coming back.
9. Summary of this Job
I thought this job would be easy to research but
it not it is actually hard to do this job because
you have to deal with kids all day. And i like
kids but i couldn't be a pediatrician even if i had
to because you have to tell them bad and good
news to them sometimes. It just breaks my
heart to do that.
