ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Waste utilization for Bio-fuel generation - on laboratory scale.
Worked in a group of four students to generate biodiesel by using trans-esterification technique. The project
was generation of biodiesel from waste vegetable oil. With effective team work we successfully demonstrated
the production of bio-fuel with waste utilization.
Conversion of waste plastic into fuel (plastic fuel).
Worked on efficient process and equipment to use waste plastics as fuel not only to save petroleum fuels for
future but also to avoid plastic accumulation in our society, which stands against sustainable environment. The
crude can be further treated to produce gasoline and diesel. The pilot plant can be easily scaled up and the
production of fuel from plastic waste can be achieved on industrial level.
ACHIEVEMENTS
 Participated in PSEF project exhibition and poster completion 7th September, 2013
held by SPPE at NED University and won the 1st prize in it.
 Participated in a 3 day Scientific exhibition (Entec) December, 2013
at Expo Center Karachi.
