Literature

By simply clicking on any Talmudic passage the user will
receive a listing of titles and page numbers of scholarly works
discussing the selected passage. For example:
a user selecting Mishna Kiddushin 1:7, would see a list of 33
references to discussions of that text in various works. The
database provides full bibliographical information (i.e. author,
title, page number and footnote number).
The Saul Lieberman Institute of Talmudic
Research, of the Jewish Theological Seminary
of America, directed by Professor Shamma
Friedman, was founded by him in 1985 and is
dedicated to the memory of Professor Saul
Lieberman, master of Talmudic Studies in
