Faith based Tourism should be the focus of Uganda's not only in their National moto ' For God and My Country. but in may faith beliefs, its about time Government Invested in protection, restoration and preservation of the sites which is celebrated on the every 3rd of June
2. The martyrs of Uganda (Roman Catholics,
Anglicans & Moslems) who were murdered by
Mwanga II, btn1885 & 1887.
The Uganda martyrs shrine was built at the spot
where St. Charles Lwanga was burnt alive .
Uganda martyrs day is celebrated every 3rd day
of June at the Uganda martyrs shrine ,
Namugongo, Kampala this is a public holiday
thus giving million of people near and far to
make pilgrimage to this holy land (Ministry of
Tourism , Wildlife and Antiquities 2016)
