LOCATION: STEWART CAMP, SOUTHERN GOLDEN TRIANGLE
Large companies are becoming
interested in the Golden Triangle,
recognizing:
• Exceptional exploration
potential and
• Good jurisdiction
The southern Triangle, centred on the
port of Stewart, is underexplored
relative to the rest of the Triangle.
3
Tucked in behind the Alaska
Panhandle, the Golden Triangle is
one of the richest mineralized
areas on the planet.

THE PORTLAND CANAL: GATEWAY TO STEWART AND THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE

“The importance of this arm (of the
sea), from a mining point of view, is
that it gives deep seawater
navigation to, and so renders easily
accessible, a district in which the
granites of the Coast Range came
in contact with the sedimentary
formations lying to the eastward
and farther inland. This region of
contact extends for the whole length
of the Coast Range and, from its
geological features, forms a zone of
potential mineralization, as has
been repeatedly pointed out in these
reports and is here again
emphasized.”

GEORGIE RIVER AND GEORGIA RIVER MINE: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
16 km south of Stewart, on year-round, ice-free tidewater;
The ridge above the mine is in cellphone range of Stewart.
Stewart:
Has been a centre of mineral exploration since 1898;
Has a deep-water bulk-loading facility;
Has a 3,900 ft. (1,189 m) long airstrip and helicopter bases;
Accessible via paved highway to rest of Canada.

GEORGIA RIVER MINE
Found in 1910 and developed until 1939;
1.2 km of underground on three main levels;
474 t mined, containing 10.2 kg Au and 12.8 kg
Ag;
Over 100 exploration diamond drill holes
1978-2004, nearly all in the immediate mine area;
An historic, non-compliant estimate of tonnage
and grade remaining in the mine: 276,400 t with
27.6 gm/t Au and 20.9 gm/t Ag; this estimate
cannot be relied upon;
100% owned by Auramex.

THE IMMENSE PLUMBING SYSTEM OF THE HUME CREEK DEFORMATION ZONE
Located immediately southwest of
the Georgia River Mine;
Consists of a very thick (>500 m) zone
of shearing, fracturing and breccia;
Dips southwest, parallel to the lower-
grade, shear-hosted veins in the mine;
Contains areas of quartz veinlets and
sulphide mineralization;
Cored by the regional, ←dextral→
Sovereign Fault.
This area has been largely ignored by
modern explorers.

adits sit in the footwall of the southwest dipping Hume Creek Deformation Zone
(HCDZ), a >500 m wide zone of severe deformation cored by the ←dextral→ (or
right-lateral) Sovereign Fault.

HISTORIC GOLD MINE BESIDE MASSIVE, GOLD-BEARING PLUMBING SYSTEM
High-grade gold veins at the mine lie in the footwall of
an immense plumbing system;
The plumbing system is coincident with a 1 km2 area of
anomalous electromagnetic (EM) response detected
by a 2010 VTEM survey;
The anomalous EM response is consistent with the
presence of a zone of anomalously high conductivity;
A dislocation in the geophysical pattern occurs at the
centre of the Hume Creek Zone, coincident with a
break in topography;
This dislocation is consistent with dextral movement
along a central fault (dark red line);
A 590 m segment of surface trace of this inferred fault,
sampled in 1990, 2011 and 2018, returned gram-plus
values of gold.

GEOPHYSICAL DATA INVERSION INDICATES A TARGET DOWN-DIP
The airborne data were reprocessed using
3D magnetic inversion, followed by 1D EM
inversion;
Results over the Hume Creek Zone define
a very large zone (400 m wide and in
excess of 400 m down-dip) of moderate
conductivity dipping to the southwest;
The zone lies immediately down-dip from
the line of anomalous gold values along
the trace of the inferred central fault;
This target, except at 15 m from surface, is
untested by drilling, open at depth and
along strike.
9
Perspective cutaway view of VTEM anomaly looking NNW
across the Hume Creek Deformation Zone. The voxels (3D
pixels) of interpreted higher conductivity define a volume
extending down the plane of the Sovereign Fault for at least
400 m (limit of detection for the airborne VTEM unit).

GEORGIE RIVER: POTENTIAL FOR A LARGE DEPOSIT NEAR A DEEPWATER PORT
Ideal location: on tidewater 16 km from Stewart;
100% owned by Auramex;
Past-producing gold mine;
Associated with Early Jurassic gold-bearing intrusions ;
Adjacent to regional structure similar to Snip and
parallel to vein set in the mine;
Structural preparation occurred before, during and
after gold-bearing intrusions;
Large VTEM anomaly, resolved as conductive zone
oriented along a central, southwest-dipping fault;
Gram-plus gold values over 590 m of target’s
projected surface trace and veins in the old mine
confirm presence of gold in a very large Early Jurassic
hydrothermal system.

Creek Zone with the Portland Canal in the background. The

VISION
Auramex is a gold-silver explorer that has consolidated a
commanding land position in one of the most richly mineralized
regions in the world. We are committed to creating shareholder value
by applying our geological expertise in the quest for large-scale
discoveries.
Auramex is focused on the Stewart Camp, at the south of the Golden
Triangle, an area that has been overlooked by modern explorers after
several big discoveries attracted attention further north. Auramex has
spent over a decade consolidating a large land position and is
conducting the some of the first comprehensive exploration in this
part of the Golden Triangle.
