cultural events. It’s a festival for urban and youth culture.
The sports like flying disc, laser run, and parkour are

Championships
The inaugural edition happening in Glasgow, Scotland in
August this year.
The biggest event for all the cycling championships
together at a location. This event will be held every four
years, summer of the year before the Olympic games.
It will be one place to go for World Class Action.

4. Cricket World Cup
13th Cricket World Cup to be held in February in India. It
is the World’s Fourth Largest Sporting Event.
A multi sports competition integrated with music and
cultural events. It’s a festival for urban and youth culture.
The sports like flying disc, laser run, and parkour are
included in it.

5. World Aquatics
Championships
While the FINA World Championships are normally held
every two years, this event is part of a series of four
consecutive competitions over four years due to
changes in the normal sporting schedule due to the
pandemic.
The event will feature swimming, open water swimming,
water polo. The event will be held in Fukuoka, Japan
from July 2023.

6. Women’s FIFA World Cup
FIFA Women's World Cup, is to be held in July and
August. This event is held every four years, one year
after the men's event. The 9th World Cup will be larger
than previous tournaments, and the number of teams
advancing to the group stage will increase from 24 to 32.
The matches will be held in Australia and New Zealand,
making this the first time they will be held in the
Southern Hemisphere.
