● Leading, managing and motivating a  reconductoring team of up to 30 Lineworkers 
● Carrying out maintenance work on tower lines; stringing, trolley work, insulator and fitting replacements. 
● Switching, isolating, making dead and issuing safety documents in accordance with health and safety                           
legislation. 
● Working live on HV and LV systems 
● Planning and organising staff, requesting required material and liaising with landowners in order to fix                             
faults within 12 hour time frame. Using generators where necessary to meet the deadline. 
● Locating faults and repairing all overhead systems. 
● Significantly reduced customer minutes lost by installing and maintaining a wide range of rural                           
automated switchgear. 
● Terminating underground LV and HV cables 
● Reading overhead and underground power line plans and schematic plans. 
● Covering all aspects of low voltage work, mainly replacing open wires for aerial bunched conductors. 
● On call for emergency call outs across the UK, often working in dangerous conditions. 
● Installation and maintenance of street lighting.
