45. EXEMPLIFICATION RESPONSIBILITIES
1st Degree – Grand Knight
Assigns team members, makes sure that
all necessary paraphernalia for the
exemplification are complete.
2nd Degree – District Deputy
DD is responsible for this exemplification

(not 4th Degree logo), black pants and

• Warden and Council Director should
check venue, paraphernalia, and sound
system that they are on hand and properly
arranged per Council Officers Installation
manual and music are qued.
50. CROSS FORMATION
1. Always maintain theRcrUoLssEfSormation.Fill in vacant position.
2. Always follow the man infront of you at the start of the entrance of officers and
during the cross
formation movement.
3. Incase of disorganization, always maintain the cross formation and no talking
or movement to adjust positions. Just remain where you are and
listen to your name and come forward when your name is called by the DD.
4. Remember as newly elected officers, this is your first public demimonstration
of a Knights of
Columbus ceremony so make it your best.

51. CONCLUSION
As has been mentioned earlier, it is impossible to cite
a rule for every situation. No doubt there will be
times when the grand knight will encounter
some rather difficult and even
unique situations.
Under those circumstances the grand knight
must use his judgment and simply
apply common courtesy.
