• I am instructor for undergraduate students of plant science and horticulture for the following 3
courses in the department of plant science, faculty of Agriculture:

• I also conduct research in crop improvement of cereals such as wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and tef
(Eragrostis tef (Zucc.) Trotter). Conduct collection of germplasm (landraces), screening and
evaluation of same for economically important traits (grain yield, disease resistance and quality
parameters). We also conduct variety adaptation trials of released cultivars for specific adaptation to
our agro-ecological condition i.e. Wolaita and Dawro Zones of South Ethiopian region.
