When I was 13 I started working at Belmont Car Wash. For
eight years a network of customers followed my growth-
through middle school, onto senior year of college. In
combination with waitressing and entry level PR work, the
business of relationship making is intrinsic to me.
E X P E R I E N C E
JD Communications, Canton MA | Intern | May 2015-
August
At JD I was given responsibility over writing blogs, press
releases, newsletters, award nominations, feature stories
and more. I grew to work cohesively with a team of
other employees and learned to balance new projects
and clients each week.
Spoon University, Harrisonburg VA | Writer | March
2015-Present
I assisted in bringing a chapter of the nationally
recognized publication to JMU. I’m one of the original
writers on staff publishing articles weekly. I also assist in
social media, recruiting, event planning and editorial
assistance. Some of my pieces have been picked up by
third party outlets such as USA Today.
E D U C A T I O N
Bachelor of Science: Communication. Minor: Creative
Writing | 2017 | James Madison University
At JMU I am a campus Student Ambassador. In addition
to giving tours I serve on our service committee which
fosters new outlets for community outreach. I also serve
as a member of PRSSA. Academically, I made
President’s list fall and spring semester junior year and
Dean’s list fall semester freshman and sophomore year.
T E C H N I C A L S K I L L S
 Quantitative Research Experience: I
conducted a semester long study
utilizing Qualtrics and SPSS.
 Web building: I have created two
sites, including my own portfolio,
using Wix.
 At JD I became proficient with
Meltwater, Eventbite and Wordpress
