For Areaof ResponsibilityI,Isurveyedmytargetpopulation,freshmeninthe AlphaSigmaTau
sorority,tobetterunderstandtheirneedsinordertodevelopaprogram.Afterconductinga thorough
literature reviewof numerouspeer-reviewedjournal articlesandbasedonthe receivedsurveyresults,I
concludedthatmembersof Greeklife have justashardof a time as managingtime asnon-Greek
members.Time managementwasacontributorto stressandanxiety,whichprovidesme withthe
decisionfordevelopingatailoredinterventionforthe targetpopulation.
For Areaof ResponsibilityII,Idevelopedmeasurableobjectivesusingthe PRECEDE-PROCEED
planningmodel.Theseobjectivesare tohelpthe freshmenAlphaSigmaTausororitymemberssucceed
inbettermanagingtheirtime basedontheirpreviousneedsassessment.The tailoredactivitiesforthese
objectivesinvolvedteachingthembettertime managementskillsanddiscussingwhatdistractsthem.
Also,theywere taughthowtouse Google calendarandhow to colorcode differentevents,whichis
more in favorby the targetpopulation.
For Areaof ResponsibilityIII,Icreatedalessonplanwithexacttimesliningupwithactivitiesto
helpusmonitorand reachour objectives.We alsohadtomodifyourplanin orderto meetindividuals’
needsfora betterexperience andlearningoutcome.Meanwhile,we alsoreceivedtutorialtraining
aboutGoogle calendar.The activitiesimplementedwere verysuccessful andthe participants
demonstratedtheywouldcontinuetouse the skillstheyobtained.
For Areaof Responsibility IV,Iparticipatedinevaluatingthe program“TauTime.”A qualitative
pre-testandpost-testwasadoptedtoconducta summative evaluationandmeasure how successful our
program was.Data was analyzedusingdescriptivestatisticsandrecordedinMicrosoft Excel.Basedon
the results,the programwas verysuccessful andcanbe sustainedandreplicated.
For Areaof ResponsibilityV,Imanagedthe budgetforthe grantthat I am writingformy grant
writingclass.Itis brokenupinpersonnel andoperatingexpenses.Iconductedresearchonhow muchit
wouldbe to paythe executive directorandprojectdirector,alongwiththe suppliesneededtohosta
weeklongcamp.I createda detailedbudgetthatwouldletthe funderknow exactlyhow muchfunding
isneededtoprovide the plannedactivitiesforthe weekfor100 participants.

participantsinourprogram “Tau Time.”It was decidedthatourgroupwoulduse an existingtutorialin

night,andwe attendedthe twomost popularbarsamong the college population.
