1. You can use the keyword search field to search Companybook
just like you would a regular search engine. For example, you
could use this field to search for products, services, keywords,
technologies, company names or anything else you can think of.
2. Companybook will identify the most relevant industries for
any keyword.
3. You can incorporate keyword news triggers into your company
searches, so that any companies returned in your search would
have also been in the news around that specific keyword. For
example, by entering the term ‘data breach’ into the news
trigger field, you would be able to identify companies who
have been in the news regarding that specific term. Ten preset
triggers are also available to use.
4. Create more filters using the fields below the keyword search
box to refine your search results. Active filters are shown by the
blue boxes near the top of the page.
5. You can create lists of companies you’re interested in by
checking the boxes next to the companies displayed in search
results. You can also select upto 1,000 companies to include
in any list by using the dropdowns just above the results.
Saved lists will appear in your dashboard. You can export
saved lists as CSV files, or upload them directly to Salesforce. If
you are creating a list for outbound marketing purposes, you
might want to use the ‘Contact Data’ filter to ensure that only
companies with the desired contact data are included in your
list (phone / email / either / both).
6. Click through on any company for more detailed data.
